Ryota Ochiai is conducting research on transitional and adulthood care for patients with childhood-onset diseases, especially in the area of adult congenital heart disease.
His main research interests are the development of medical care systems including databases, and educational support for patients and their families.
He is specialized in qualitative research methods including Grounded Theory Approach and Qualitative Content Analysis, while he also conducts quantitative research.
