高橋 睦子

TAKAHASHI Mutsuko is:
Professor of Sociology and Social Policy, Keisen University, Tokyo Japan.

After graduated from the Osaka University of Foreign Studies (Department of Danish language and culture), she worked at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1986 to 1990. Shifting her career from diplomat to researcher, she received her Ph.D. from the University of Tampere, Finland in 1995. While working as professor of sociology and social policy in Japanese universities over two decades, she has extensively published books and articles on social policy for supporting families with small children.
