My speciality is asymptotics of orthogonal polynomials.
Especially I'm interested in multiple orthogonal polynomials.
Multiple orthogonal polynomials are defined
by a certain generalization of orthogonal polynomials.
They are important in random matrix theory, for example.

I'm imterested in history of old Japanese mathematics,
so-called "Wasan" too.
We should study it from a cultual viewpoint more.

I like roadbikes (riding and watching pro-races) and old Japanese books.
