奥村 二郎

The beginning of the current research is the establishment of benzene environmental standard at the Environment Agency, Government of Japan in 1996. It was an epoch-making administrative measure that fully adopted the risk assessment method to set the reference value.
I worked as the center of the genome project of the country in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology . Many pioneering efforts were made on international research collaboration and management of research ethics.
I belong to the committees of Education, Ethics, IRB, Library, Experimental Small Animals and Clinical Training at Faculty of Medicine Kindai University , and I am engaged in education for students and research support for young researchers.
In terms of research, we are working for 1) health effects and legal responses concerning environmental chemical substances and human allergies, 2) joint projects with the Faculty of Science and Technology on health city development, and 3) research on indoor environment in buildings, airplanes, trains, etc.
Externally, we participate in the council on health and the environment concerning representative examples in Awards and scientific recognitions and the allocation of research expenses by national expenses and the committee of national examination.
In addition, I undertake chairpersons and members of various administrative committees such as national health insurance and nursing care insurance in local municipalities.
