Kazuko KASHIWAHI, Ph.D. (University of Kyoto)
Major research interest is in processes of foreign langauge learning for early adolescent learners (age 11-14). Current theoretical focus is on Usage-based Model,Focus on Form, and CLIL. She is a professor at Shitennoji University and a director of J-CLIL-KANSAI  in Japan.
Her research interests include early adolescent learners’verb acquisition in L2 and Usage-based Model (UBM).She published a paper on CLIL and overseasteaching project in Finland (2015) which aims at raising the teacher students’ 21st skills. Her recent paper presentations on UBM integrated with CLIL were hold at Hawaii International conference on education in Hawaii, USA (2018) and WERA (World Education Research Association) 2021 and 2023.
