Profile

Born in 1965 in Kochi City, Japan.
My major interest lies in psychological processes of learning and memory. With typical laboratory animals such as rats, I am doing experimental research on how and what they learn and on the mechanism of behavioral expression.
Another area of my research is "human-animal relations." In the mass media, I am known as a scholar studying facial resemblance between dogs and their owners (visit the URL shown above).
