本研究では,都内S大学における情報教育の受講者を対象に,授業の満足度に関する調査を行った.そして,授業の成績上位群と成績下位群に分類し,満足度に影響を及ぼす要因について成績別に追究した.その結果,「課題が大変でもあきらめずに解いた」という自己制御に関する項目と満足度の相関係数について,成績下位群の方が成績上位群よりも大きいことが示唆された.また,重回帰分析を用いて満足度と直接的に影響を及ぼす要因を分析した結果,成績上位群と下位群とも,授業に対する本質的価値が満足度に直接影響を及ぼし,これに加えて,成績上位群は自己効力感,認知方略の利用が満足度に直接的に影響を及ぼすことが分かった.

本研究は,小学校理科教育を対象として運用しているeラーニングサイト「理科ネット」の電子掲示板「質問コーナー」に,用語間の関係の強さに着目した検索支援システム「PRIUM (Portfolio Retrieval for Investigating Useful Material)」を構築し,それを運用した効果について検証した.その結果,児童は電子掲示板に理科に関する質問を投稿する前に,自分が質問したい内容と同じ質問があるかどうか,PRIUMを使って調べるという情報探索行動を示すことが分かった.さらに,PRIUMを構築する前よりも,構築後の方が過去に投稿された質問と同じ質問をする割合が減少し,「質問コーナー」の利用頻度や質問の投稿数が増加するなどの効果があることが示唆された.
