Dr. Mitsuhiro Hayashi is the director of the Breast Surgery department at Yotsuya Medical Cube, Tokyo, Japan. Previously, he was the chief doctor of the department of breast and endocrine surgery at Kumamoto City Hospital.
In 2015, he was invited to the National Cancer Center as a staff scientist to promote cancer translational research including liquid biopsy, molecular imaging, and patient-derived tumor library with the clinical trial teams. He had received research supports from AMED and the New York Academy of Sciences.
Since moving to his current position in 2020, he has focused his clinical research on scarless surgery, early detection, and exploring predictors of efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy for breast cancer.
