Azhar Aulia Saputra started his undergraduate course in Electronic Engineering at Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia, in Aug. 2009. He received a Bronze Prize Award at the Capstone Design Fair International Session, South Korea, and several achievements in both national and international robotic competitions. He received the Bachelor of Applied Science, Master of Engineering degree, Doctoral of Philosophy in March 2014, March 2018, and March 2021, respectively. He was a Ph.D. student at Tokyo Metropolitan University under JSPS Research Fellow - DC1 (2018-2021). He was also visiting researcher at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland) in 2019. He received an excellent graduate school research award from the Japan Society of Automotive Engineers (JSAE) in 2020. Currently, he is a Specially Appointed Assistant Professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University. His research interests are intelligent control systems, neural-based locomotion systems, and robotics. His current project is “Sensory-motor coordination based dynamic motion behavior” and “Seamless Monitoring of Human Physical Analysis”
