20世紀の中日近代文学、特に東アジア知識人の移動や旅行、留学に関心を持っています。近年は、清末の女性医師による越境経験や英語創作に加えて、中国近代文学における宗教感情と身体表象についても研究を進めています。

I am interested in modern Chinese and Japanese literature of the twentieth century, with a particular focus on the movements, travels, and study-abroad experiences of East Asian intellectuals. Recently, my research has centered on the cross-cultural experiences and English writings of female physicians in the late Qing period,as on religious emotions and representations of the body in modern Chinese literature.
