Let f be a non-constant polynomial in the polynomial ring R-[n] in n variables over an integral domain R such that Q(R)[f] boolean AND R-[n] = R[f]. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for f to be closed in R-[n]. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
