# Formulation for renormalon-free perturbative predictions beyond large-$β_0$ approximation

We propose a general method to obtain an unambiguous (renormalon-free) part
from divergent asymptotic series containing renormalons. The renormalon-free
part consists of two parts: one is given by series expansion in $\alpha_s$
which does not contain renormalons, and the other is a real part of the Borel
integral, where the Borel transform possesses renormalons. In particular, a
systematic method to obtain the real part of the Borel integral is proposed. To
this end, we adopt an alternative resummation formula to the Borel integral. As
an example, we apply our formulation to the fixed-order result of the static
QCD potential, whose closest renormalon is already visible.
