James E. Allison has taught full-time in the Hokusei Gakuen School System since 1988. He has taught the Bible in English content-based courses, as well as a variety of more standard English classes. His research interest has primarily been in the history of Hokusei Gakuen and its founder, Sarah C. Smith.
