Apr 2016   分子供給系を持つ自己生産ベシクルの開発
両親媒性分子が作る球状の閉じた2分子膜構造はベシクルと呼ばれ、有機物質が生命へと進化を遂げる際に、最初にできた分子集合体だと考えられている。このベシクルは、様々な化学物質と相互作用することにより、自己生産・膜輸送・自己駆動などの生命現象に密接な機能を獲得し、自己触媒系と連携して生命へと進化したと考えられている。本研究では、日本でソフトマター物理学を基盤に分子集合体から生命機能の発現機構を研究する我々のグループとスウェーデンの分子集合体の物理化学のリーダーであるLund大学のOlsson教授のグループが連携して、様々な化学物質と相互作用することにより発現するベシクルダイナミクスの物理化学的な起源を明らかにしようとするものである。
Feb 2015   人工膜上での高分子合成による情報分子の創成
人工膜上で膜情報を分子構造に取り入れた高分子を合成させ、高分子とベシクルの行動的なダイナミクスを明らかにする。
Nov 2013   変形しながら駆動する分子集合体の物理
リン脂質分子に界面活性剤を作用させ、その溶解性を利用してベシクルを変形させながら駆動する分子集合体を開発、その機構を解明する。
Oct 2013   脂肪酸ベシクルを用いた生命機能発現機構の解明
脂肪酸ベシクルを用いて最も単純な生命機能であるベシクルの代謝や成長を再現するための基礎研究。
Apr 2012   自己生産ベシクルの物理機構の解明
自己生産するベシクルの変形過程を3次元画像解析し、膜弾性理論に基づき、その機構を解明する。
