Lavergne Edouard

Edouard Lavergne research interests encompass coastal and estuarine ecology, especially fish population biology, coastal and estuarine habitat connectivity and functional biology of fish facing multi-stress in the context of climate change, eutrophication and increasing human activities. His work is achieved through a range of technologies and tools including: SCUBA-based survey and sampling, molecular biology, Sclero-chronology and -chemistry. For Connectivity of Humans , Hills and Oceans program, he will quantify the contribution of juveniles from inshore nurseries to the adult population of Japanese seabass, characterize the trophic structure of the Yura river system food-web and describe how the impacts of loss of connectivity may propagate through the food web structure.
