Ground motion prediction has been applied to an input ground motion of seismic design. This prediction method includes recent discovery on seismology. This paper briefly introduces the important components of the procedure: source, pass and site effects. The paper also presents that a few points were not consistent with the ground motions during the 2011 off the pacific coast of Tohoku earthquake.
