Lynch Brendan Eric

I am from Ireland and started teaching in 1999. I have been in Japan on and off for 8 years since 2001, when I taught on the JET Program in Fukushima. My second stint in Japan was teaching to volunteers on the Japan International Cooperation Agency. In Ireland I have taught English in language schools and to asylum seekers, and in Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin. Additionally, I have been a teacher trainer since 2006. I have an MA in Anglo-Irish Literature and a HDip in TESOL, both from University College Dublin, and an MPhil in Applied Linguistics from Trinity College Dublin. I am now in my third year in KUIS.

My research interests are affective factors, classroom management and teacher development.
