5軸マシニングセンタに対する精度試験方法のひとつとしてNAS979に規定された円錐台加工が用いられている.円錐台加工は5軸マシニングセンタにおける動的精度の最終確認に利用される.しかし,組立誤差が円錐台加工による加工精度にどう影響するか分かっていない.本研究では工作機械の各軸間に存在する組立誤差が円錐台加工における加工精度に及ぼす影響を実験とシミュレーションの双方から検討した.

難削材で知られるCFRPの切削では工具の摩耗が著しい.そのため,ダイヤモンドコートの工具が利用される一方,コスト面から超硬工具も有効とされている.本研究では,ヘリカル加工による穴あけにおいて,ボールエンドミル前切れ刃の逃げ面摩耗について実験的に評価した.市販工具のS字形状をする前切れ刃に加え,直線形状の工具を試作して摩耗幅の評価法を明らかにした.超硬ボールエンドミルの逃げ面摩耗幅の計測法を提案する.
