 Proposed a Q-enhancement method for long transfer distance

 Developed a method to establish a small signal transfer function for hysteretic buck DC-DC converters in continuous conduction mode (CCM)

1. Transconductive amplifier design for sampling mixer
 Analyzed the effect of the parasitics on circuit performance by calculation and simulation
2. Millimeter-wave CMOS transceivers (Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications project)
 Contributed to the first 64-QAM mm-wave transceiver and realized the fastest transfer data rate in the world.
 Built models for mm-wave circuit including transistors, transmission lines, baluns, capacitors and de-coupling transmission lines, built PDK for mm-wave circuit design, created black-box for mm-wave devices.
 Designed the low noise amplifiers and power amplifiers for RF front-end
 Serial to parallel and parallel to serial circuit design
3. Helium-3 ion irradiation method to improve circuit performance, cooperation with Sumitomo Heavy Industries. Examination and Inspection, Ltd.,
 Helium-3 ion irradiation method to modify CMOS substrate resistivity in order to improve passive device performance and improve noise isolation, saving product cost up to 97% compared to former proton method.
