My name is Bin Ni. I have acquired my PhD of Economics, from the Graduate School of Economics, Osaka University in March, 2016.
My primary research interests lie in international trade and development economics, with a focus on the application of microeconometric methods. To date, I have utilized firm-level data from both advanced and developing countries to empirically examine firms’ decision-making processes in the contexts of foreign direct investment and international trade. I am also interested in interdisciplinary research, particularly at the intersections of labor, macro, management and political science.
