Influence of the metal dispersion in the dense Pr2NiO4-base oxides on the charge and mass transport was investigated in this study. Ag, Au, Pd, and Pt metal particles were dispersed into the Cu- and Ga-doped Pr2NiO4, and it was found that Au dispersion improves the electric conductivity. In addition, Au dispersion also enhances the oxide ion diffusivity and oxygen surface exchange property.
