  • 18 months ago my research was progressing well. I had found a promising approach which seemed to be working. Building work excluded me from my office and my computing facilities for a considerable part of the year. At the same time, lack of finance meant that I was unable to renew software licenses or pay for data and software I had ordered. Since then I have ceased work on the project.
