Takashi Kuremoto received the B.E. degree in System&0a;Engineering at University of Shanghai for Science and&0a;Technology, Chinain1986, and M.E.and Ph.D. degrees&0a;at Yamaguchi University, Japan in 1996 and 2014,&0a;respectively. He worked as a system engineer at &0a;Research Institute of Automatic Machine of Beijing&0a;from 1986 to 1992 and is currently an assistant professor in Division of Computer Science & Design Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Yamaguchi University, Japan. He was an Academic&0a;Visitor of School of Computer Science, The University of&0a;Manchester, U.K. in 2008. His research interests include&0a;bioinformatics, machine learning, complex systems,&0a;time series forecasting and swarm intelligence. He is a memberofIEICE, IEEE, IIF, and SICE.
