Yayoi Aizawa

After obtaining my nursing license, I worked as a nurse at a university hospital for 8 years. After that, I obtained my certification as a certified genetic counselor and engaged in research and educational activities at a university. I have been engaged in research activities focusing on ethical, legal, and social implications of genome analysis research and genome medicine, and have been the first author of five papers in both Japanese and English. In the last few years, I have also served as a member of several academic societies, professional associations, and research ethics review committees. Currently, I work for a research and consulting firm, where I apply my experience and expertise to research work.
