TEACHER TRAINER in Vietnam: Trainer of French teachers in Southeast Asia for the French government's Francophony International Organization (OIF). For five days (July 9-13), a training program was held for 60 French teachers from Southeast Asia. Participants studied basic theoretical concepts to design their own assessment tools. Through training, they were encouraged to participate in group discussions and activities. The general movement of training was to integrate a solid framework (what a good rating indicates), and then apply it to the “micro” level to get a picture of each teacher's classroom situation. And eventually match the "macro" level. That means training to create assessments that are performed at the district, regional, or national level.
