The project will analyze the effect of articulatory training (AT) on audition and pronunciation in language learning. Based on research in pure-tone frequency discrimination (FD), this project seeks to understand if AT impacts both FD (input) and pronunciation (output) in a foreign language, and whether FD can predict facility or difficulty in acquiring foreign language pronunciation.
