ブラッドフォード アンネット

Annette Bradford, Associate at Oxford EMI and Adjunct Fellow at Temple University Japan's Institute of Contemporary Asian Studies, is recognized for her work in the internationalization of higher education, particularly as it relates to Japan.

Annette has published extensively about English-medium edeucation, and has presented her research at conferences in Asia, Europe and the U.S. She is active in several professional organizations, and is currently on the board of the ICLHE Associaton (Integrating Content and Language in Higher Education), and is founding member of the ICLHE East Asia Regional Group. She has also held positions within NAFSA (Association of International Educators) and TESOL International.

She has worked as an associate professor in the School of Business Administration at Meiji University, Tokyo, and has completed terms as a non-resident fellow at The Pacific Forum CSIS, and a Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow in Japan. Previously, she worked worked as a language instructor, teacher trainer, and cross-cultural communication specialist in countries across Asia, in Europe and in the United States.

She was born in the U.K., and has lived and worked in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Germany, the U.S. and the U.K. She holds an EdD in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from the George Washington University, an MA in Linguistics from the University of Surrey, and a BA in Modern Languages from the University of East Anglia.
