The, stambali is, he Tunisian, designation of, a, cult of therapeutic, possession which, like the gnawa, in Morocco, he diwen in Algeria, has its origins in sub-Saharan Africa. It is, placed under the aegis of Sufism, he cult of saints in, he Maghreb, hus acquired, a syncretic character. Through, he confreric liturgy, he highlights of, his, raditional, practice resonate the essential features which implicitly determine the limits of a, performance, play.
