ゴンザレス ロチャ エリック

Erick obtained his Master and PhD in Economics from Kobe University in Japan. Additionally, he was trained in political economy of development by the London School of Economics (LSE); intersection of business, finance and government in Asian economies by Harvard University; and small and medium enterprise development by the SME Corporation in the Republic of Korea. As an undergraduate, he studied industrial engineering at Universidad Mayor de San Simón (UMSS) in Bolivia. Currently, he works as Associate Programme Management Officer at the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR). Previously, he worked as an assistant professor and researcher at Kobe University and Kwansei Gakuin Universities in Japan, consultant for the World Bank Group’s IFC, intern at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the United Nations ISDR and researcher at UMSS. Erick obtained the Mobukagakusho scholarship, graduated by academic excellence from UMSS and holds a honorable mention from the Bolivian army.
