In this study, the authors investigate the electricity demand properties for the tunnel portal direction using the tunnel illumination data. In addition, the authors examine the relationship between the tunnel portal direction and the PV power generation panel direction that is effective for a peak cut. © 2014 The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
