Hiroyuki Nakashizuka has received his medical degree from Nihon University, Japan, in 1994. He completed his Ph.D. in 2011 under the pathological study in polypoidal vasculopathy. He is now the professor as well as the chairman of the Eye Center in Nihon University Hospital. He performs over 400 cases of vitrectomy every year. Recently he published a great interesting paper about treating endophthalmitis using povidone-iodine.　He is a specialist in macular surgery.
