Howard Brown is a professor with the University of Niigata Prefecture where he is coordinator of the English-Medium Studies program. His current research interests relate to the effective implementation of English-medium instruction programs in higher education. He is the co-editor of the recent volume English-Medium Instruction in Japanese Higher Education: Policy, Challenges and Outcomes from Multilingual Matters.
