柏市を含む千葉県東葛地域は、周辺地域に比べて高濃度の放射能汚染がみられる「ホットスポット」となっている。開発が進む柏市北部に残された都市近郊林「こんぶくろ池自然博物公園」、「大青田の森」、「東大柏キャンパス」の3か所を調査地として、森林内の放射能汚染の実態を調査した。林内の空間線量は0.2~0.3μSv/h前後で同地区の芝生地等に比べてやや低く、樹冠による放射性セシウムの遮断が示唆された。樹幹のセシウム濃度は、樹幹上部の外樹皮で最も高く、材部では低濃度であったが、2011年の年輪の一部や2...

マツ材線虫病によってマツが大量に枯れると,林業生産や景観保全上の問題のみならず,マツ林を利用する生物相にも影響を与えると考えられる.そこで,被害状況の異なる林分において,マツの丸太トラップを用いて,マツを利用する樹皮下穿孔性昆虫とそれに随伴する昆虫嗜好性線虫相の比較を行った.調査は,マツ材線虫病被害の北限を挟んだ日本海側の海岸マツ林3ヶ所,青森県深浦町(被害未発生地),秋田県八峰町(被害進行地),および能代市(被害終息地)において行った.丸太トラップに穿孔した昆虫の頭数は,未発生地に比べて...

マツ材線虫病感受性マツの病徴進展は,前期と進展期に分けられる.前期には線虫の分散と樹脂道の破壊,柔細胞の変性が起こり,木部で部分的な通水阻害が発生する.進展期には,柔細胞の壊死,形成層の破壊が拡大し,通水阻害が木部全面に拡大して萎凋枯死に至る.本病に対する抵抗性マツの選抜が進められているが,個体間で抵抗性レベルに差があることが知られている.個体間の病徴進展の違いを明らかにすることで,抵抗性メカニズムに迫ることができると考えられる.そこで,抵抗性クロマツ2クローン(土佐清水63,大分8)と感...

ブナ科樹木萎凋病は,病原菌Raffaelea quercivoraの感染に起因する局所的な通水阻害の多重発生によって引き起こされる.この通水阻害にはキャビテーションの発生が関与していると推察されてきたが,本病の主因である菌糸の動態に着目した研究は少なく,菌糸分布と通水阻害発生との関係も明らかにされていない.本研究では,R. quercivora 接種がミズナラ樹体内の水分通道に与える影響を明らかにするために,宿主樹体内の菌糸分布と水分布との位置関係について調査した.病原菌菌糸を蔓延させた湿...
