ハンガリー出身・ブダペスト法門仏教大学大学院日本語専修了、同志社女子大学院文学研究科において日本語日本文化の博士学位を取得・和歌文学研究・翻訳研究・百人一首研究。Orsolya Karolyi holds an MSc in Buddhist Studies, Japanese major from Dharma Gate Buddhist College in Budapest, Hungary, and a Ph.D. in Japanese Language and Culture from Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts, Kyoto. Her research is focusing mainly on classical Japanese poetry and poetry translation.
