リチャーズ ゲーリー ジェームズ

Gary Richards is an associate professor of chemistry at Shibaura Institute of Technology. His research is focused on pi-conjugated materials and supramolecular chemistry. Over the past several years, he has developed the pyrazinacenes - rectilinearly-fused pyrazine oligomers that offer several advantages over their acene counterparts. Recently, he has prepared the longest known pyrazinacenes that exhibit highly efficient near-infrared emisision that can be tuned through their amphiprotic properties.
