政治理論・政治哲学・政治思想史を専門としています。政治における個人の葛藤の規範的意義について関心があり、「葛藤と向き合う政治理論」の構築を大きな目標としています。

現在は20世紀イギリスの哲学者・倫理学者バーナード・ウィリアムズ（1929-2003）の思想を中心に、リベラリズムや政治的リアリズム（political realism）といった20世紀以降の政治理論・政治哲学・政治思想について研究しています。

葛藤に関して、自然科学分野を含む他分野の知見についても勉強しています。脳・神経科学、BMI（ブレイン・マシーン・インターフェース）などの科学技術と政治社会との関係の在り方についても関心があります。

I specialize in political theory, political philosophy, and the history of political thought. My primary research interest lies in the normative significance of individuals' internal conflicts in politics, and my overarching goal is to develop a "political theory of engaging with individuals' internal conflicts."

Currently, my research focuses on the ideas of the 20th-century British philosopher and ethicist Bernard Williams (1929–2003) and broader themes in political theory, political philosophy, and political thought since the 20th century, including liberalism and political realism.

In my examination of conflict, I am also exploring perspectives from various disciplines, including the natural sciences. Additionally, I am interested in the relationship between scientific and technological advancements—such as neuroscience and brain-machine interface (BMI)—and political society.
