山崎 貴男

Takao Yamasaki is an executive and medical director at the Minkodo Minohara Hospital, Fukuoka, Japan. He is also an executive director at the Kumagai Institute of Health Policy, and a part-time lecturer at the International University of Health and Welfare. He received his M.D. from Saga Medical School in 1997, and his Ph.D. from Kyushu University in 2005. He also studied at the University of Tokyo in 2002. After that, he worked at Kyushu University (Department of Clinical Neurophysiology) as an assistant professor (2005–2007), a research assistant professor (2007–2015), an academic researcher (2015–2020) and a collaborative researcher (2020–2021). His main interest has focused on non-invasive measurements of human brain function, especially higher brain dysfunction in dementia and autism spectrum disorders by combining psychophysical, electrophysiological and neuroimaging methods. His recent research topics is the development of new evaluation and management strategies for the elderly with cognitive decline and dementia.
