"Department of Electrical and Electronic System Engineering" in Nagaoka National College of Technology has renamed from "Department of Electrical Engineering" in 2004. On this occasion, in order to strenghen mathematics and science education, a new curriculum was introduced. The class called "Exercises in Electrical Theory 2" has been offered for the third year students to aim for improving their basic academic skills. The students cna develop their sutonomy through this class. Moreover,the progress of individual student is monitored by several teachers. In this paper,the effects and the result of this class and, what we call, "autonomous exercises" introduced in this class are discussed.
