To construct the essential documents for the study of thought in the Lotus Sutra, which represents the early Mahayana Sutra, especially Kumārajīva’s translation, Myōhō-renge-kyō, 鳩摩羅什訳『妙法蓮華経』, we are promoting empirical research from a philological and linguistic perspective on the Saddharmapuṇḍarīka manuscripts, considered the original text.
