I am a musicologist specializing in Russian music.
My current interests are
(1) The various musical experiments in Russia and the Soviet Union in the early 20th century (so-called "Russian avant-garde music") and the composers who came before and after them.
(2) "Proletarian music," which was being performed at the same time as (1).
(3) Operation of musical topics in Russia.
