Alok Jha is currently an Assistant Professor at Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. He obtained his Masters degree in Physics from T M Bhagalpur Univ., India and Ph.D. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi India.
After obtaining his Ph. D. degree in 2012, he joined Prof. Kaname Matsumoto's research group as post doctroal research fellow at Kyushu Institute of Technology. He has since been working in the same research group in different capacities.
His research interests include synthesis and characterization of superconducting materials and multiferroic materials mainly in thin film form.
He has authored 22 papers in international journals of repute and in conference proceedings and is a reviewer of many journals related to superconductivity and low temperature physics. He has given many contributed and invited talks at several international conferences.
