This paper reports on the archaeological survey conducted in the Wādī al Kabīr basin in the interior of Oman. The goal of the survey was to understand the spatio-temporal characteristics of human occupation of the area of geographical interface between the Hajar Mountains and the Rub Al Khālī Desert during the late Pleistocene and Holocene.
