村上 哲

東京藝術大学卒業（比較芸術学専攻）。1982年から2018年まで熊本県立美術館に在籍し、同館の企画運営や収集事業に携わるほか、全国の美術館を巡回する海外展の企画・統括に携わる。熊本県立美術館学芸課長を経て、2018年4月にアート・キュレーション代表／企画統括者に就任（2021年4月から統括責任者）、海外の美術館コレクション事業等の監修・執筆・講演に携わる。専門分野は比較芸術学、美術館のミュゼオロジーとキュレーション。特化した専門領域として、エコール・ド・パリの動向とその関連作家、藤田嗣治（レオナール＝ツグハル・フジタ）、古典版画から現代版画に至る欧米版画史。1987年から熊本大学や長崎大学の講師を歴任し、2020年から崇城大学芸術学部で学芸員資格課程に携わる。2023年から美術評論家連盟／国際美術評論家連盟会員。平成25年度紺綬褒章受章。

Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts (major in comparative aesthetics). Worked as a curator at the Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art from 1982 to 2018, and is involved in the planning and management of the museum as well as the planning and supervision of art exhibitions that travel around Japan. In 2018, retired from the chief curator of the Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art, and became the Chief Executive Curator and the Representative of the Art Curation, and is involved in the supervision, writing, and lecture of the projects of overseas museums collections.Specialties are comparative aesthetic, museology and curation. Specialized fields include trends of Ecole de Paris and related artists, Léonard-Tsuguharu Foujita, and the history of European and American prints from old master to contemporary. Has been a lecturer at Kumamoto University and Nagasaki University since 1987, and has been teaching in the curator qualification course at the Sojo University, Faculty of Art since 2020. Member of AICA／International Association of Art Critics since 2023. Received the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon in 2013.
