Bisser Raytchev received his Ph.D. in Informatics from Tsukuba University, Japan in 2000. After being a research associate at NTT Communication Science Labs and AIST, he is presently an associate professor in the Department of Information Engineering, Hiroshima University, Japan. His current research interests include computer vision, machine learning, medical imaging, high-dimensional data visualization and image processing.
