My research interests include earth observation, machine learning, and high-performance computer simulation technologies with applications to disaster sciences and environmental monitoring. In particular, my research focuses on intelligent information processing to automatically extract land information, such as disaster-induced land changes, from remote sensing images as well as computer numerical simulation to understand the physical characteristics of large-scale disasters, such as tsunami inundation features.
