褚 柏松

Dr. Po-sung Chu was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and was given the MD degree from National Taiwan University in 2004. After finishing the compulsory service in Taiwanese military, he started the junior residency in Keio University Hospital, Tokyo, from 2007 to 2009. From April 2009, he started residency of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Keio University Hospital, and at the same time, he started his research work focusing on immunity of liver diseases, especially fibrogenesis and viral hepatitis, under the instruction of Dr. Nobuhiro Nakamoto, Dr. Hirotoshi Ebinuma, Prof. Hidetsugu Saito and Prof. Takanori Kanai. He was given the PhD degree from Keio University in 2015. He is now working as Assistant Professor (June 2014- May 2019) and Associate Professor (since June 2019) in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Keio University Hospital and focusing his research on liver immunity regarding liver fibrosis, autoimmune hepatitis, viral hepatitis, and liver failure.
