EURAXESS Links Japan

EURAXESS is a European Commission initiativeproviding a complete range of supportservices to researchers in order for them to advance in their research projects and careers. It features fourdifferent branches:

EURAXESS jobs, which is a job andfellowship portal for researchers and their employers, featuring more than 5000offers on a daily basis, in Europe and in the world (advertise for yours!);

EURAXESS Services, which role is to providepersonal assistance and practical advice to relocating or incoming researchersthrough several hundreds of centres in Europe;

EURAXESS Rights, which informs researchers ontheir rights and works towards better employment and working conditions forresearchers throughout Europe;

EURAXESS Links, serving as liaison betweenEurope and different hubs (ASEAN, Brazil, China, India, North  America and Japan), providing information onfunding schemes, cooperation opportunities, S&T developments, jobs andmobility, events.

EURAXESS Links Japan aims to support European and Japanese researchers in finding appropriate funding for their international cooperativeresearch projects between Europe and Japan, help them build their localnetworks; and assist them in advancingtheir career through mobility at a global scale. We address to all researchers, fromPhD candidate level and above, without restriction on field ofactivity (humanities and social sciences included!). Our services are 100% free.

EURAXESS Links Japan fullycooperates with the EU Delegation to Japan, the S&T divisions in each ofthe Member States and Associated Countries embassies as well the variousliaison offices (national funding agencies, research institutes, etc.) in orderto maximise synergies.

Our newsletter presents a monthly digest of S&T news anddevelopments, Funding, grants and fellowships critical information, Jobs andmobility opportunities as well as events of interest for researchers,administrators and stakeholders interested in Europe - Japan cooperation.

Each month, we provide youwith a tailoredlist of EU, Member States and Associated Countries (40 countries!),and Japanese programmes with upcomingdeadlines. The list is tailored to featureonly programmes enabling either Japanese participation (for Europeanprogrammes) or European participation (for Japanese programmes), as well as mobility and fellowship offers both ways.

Each edition features around 50 differentprogrammes!

Please keep in mind we also hold between 4 and 5 events in Japan peryear, meant as networking andinformation platforms for Europe-Japan cooperation in research.
