動物の光受容に興味をもって研究しています。視覚、概日時計の光同調、体色変化など、多様な光生理現象を支える分子メカニズムを解明するため、分子・細胞レベルから個体レベル（ゼブラフィッシュやマウス）まで、様々な手法を用いた研究を展開しています。
