志賀 大亮

Dr. Daisuke Shiga received his Ph.D. in Science from Tohoku University in March 2021 and has been an Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials (IMRAM), Tohoku University, since April 2021. He also serves as an Associate Researcher at the Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS), KEK. His research explores strongly correlated oxide thin films and heterostructures through a combination of thin-film synthesis and in situ synchrotron photoemission spectroscopy, with the aim of clarifying interfacial electronic states and the mechanisms underlying metal-insulator transitions. His current interests include electronic phase transitions in correlated oxide systems, charge transfer at oxide interfaces, and interface design guided by spectroscopic data.
