OKANO, Eiji was born in Apr., 1970 in Osaka and is Professor at Graduate School of Economics, Nagoya City University in Nagoya, Japan and Visiting Scholar, Department of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics, Birkebeck, University of London in London, UK. He graduated Doshisha University in Kyoto in Mar., 1993 and received PhD in Commerce and Management from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo in Mar., 2005. He started his academic career in Apr., 2005, and was appointed as Professor at Graduate School of Economics, Nagoya City University in Apr., 2014 and as Visiting Scholar, Department of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics, Birkebeck, University of London in Aug., 2017. He was a Visiting Fellow at Center on Japanese Economy and Business, Columbia University in New York and an Invited Researcher at Center for Research on Economic Analysis (Center for Research in Economics and Management at Present), Luxembourg University in Luxembourg, an Abe Fellow and has been appointed to Director of Japan Society of Monetary Economics since Apr., 2016. He has an experience working at a large producer in Osaka in 7 years after graduation. His research fields are International Macroeconomics, International Money and Finance, Monetary Policy and Macroeconomics. His book is (with Eiji Ogawa) ``International Money and Finance [Kokusai Kin'yu],'' Toyo Keizai, Tokyo, Apr., 2016.
